Grilling Meal Prep – Fajita Stuffed Chicken Breasts

what up guys and welcome back to the fit mega kitchen for today's quickie Mill Creek recipe we are going to be firing up the new Weber Q series grill now when they sent this to me I was a little bit skeptical because I'm like this is the smallest grill I've ever seen but they told me this is a little grill with a big performance so today we're gonna put to the test so what I thought would be fun today is if we take a traditional cookout type of food that you would enjoy with your friends and family at a BBQ or maybe even at a tailgate and then reimagine that food for meal prep so today we're really gonna put this thing to the test and try to cook up a recipe that is both cookout friendly but also meal prep friendly this is a gas grill all you do is just attach your propane tank to it turn the knob here and then flip the switch and then it goes and let me tell you this thing eats up but what I find most remarkable about this is that it's so portable and lightweight so you can take this to your backyard and your patio you can put it on the back of your truck when you're going to go tailgating and it's so portable that I'm gonna show you that we can cook the exact same type of thing inside of the studio here on our big butcher block so we're literally putting this thing to the test today so for today's recipe thought about it and we are gonna be making a fajita stuff chicken breast mmm it is so amazing I know y'all are going to love it and the best thing about it is again you can use it for an amazing cookout but you could also repurpose it for your weekly meal prep all right guys if you are ready to roll up your sleeves crank up this bad boy then let's get started okay so first everyone do is prep our chicken brush so we're going to add some flavor that's a human keep it really simple some smoked paprika and some chili powder and add a pinch of sea salt and some pepper as well and then I like to because they're putting it on the grill just to add a little bit of oil so we're gonna add in a little bit of avocado oil if you don't have avocado oil then just use Olive Oyl all right now get your hands dirty it's real nice mix it all up perfect now we're gonna let this marinate for at least 20 minutes if you can spare the time I would say an hour inside of your fridge okay so while the chicken is marinating let's make our stuffing we're gonna start out with some whipped cream cheese some Mexican blend cheese some colorful built peppers and then some red onion give it some good mix then set this aside into a write stuff our chicken breast all right so the chickens been marinating now for a bit and it's got this beautiful reddish color it already feels like that's gonna taste good we're gonna make a pocket inside of the chicken so we can stuff it so we're gonna take some of our stuffing stuff the inside of it perfect then repeat this for the rest of the chicken breast all right so with our chicken breast ready to go we are going to fire up the grill we're gonna get this grill hot enough to about 300 and then we're gonna brush the grill with a little bit of olive oil or a little bit of avocado oil so that way it'll help with the non sticking of the chicken then and then take our stuffed chicken breast and just plop them right down here on the grill we're gonna cook this on the grill for at least 15 minutes let's say between 15 to 20 minutes and you want to flip it halfway through if you have really thick cut pieces of chicken you're gonna want to cook them a little bit longer so the most important thing is just to cook the chicken through we don't want any squawking whenever you cut into your stuffed chicken breasts all right chickens squawk right did they squawk we don't want any clucking squeeze a little bit of lime on there bring out some more that flavor I'm so excited I smells incredible I love this I love this machine I gotta give me one and there you go you got your cookout spread right here you got your fresh guac going boom what a hearty thing to have when you're cooking out with friends and family but what if you could turn this into meal prep here's how I would do it so pick your favorite veggie I'm going to be using some Brussels sprouts we're going to chop them in half right down the middle just like this and then we're going to skewer these bad boys and we're going to get these a good spray but a little bit of oil going to season these up with a little bit of sea salt and little pepper lightly brush again with a little bit of oil so we're gonna cook these between ten and fifteen minutes and we're gonna flip them halfway through to make sure we get a nice char on both sides let's get these off the grill and bring everything together start off with some freshly steamed cauliflower rice add in one of our delicious chicken breasts and don't forget your Brussels sprout kebabs what a hearty dish and then liven this whole thing up with a little bit of fresh pico de gallo and of course don't forget your line you know I love that simple low carb but very filling and hearty meal prep for you to enjoy all week long that little krill cooked out all of this food in under an hour all this delicious succulent food that we can enjoy throughout the entire week and I think that's pretty impressive so I can't wait to add this to my own kitchen repertoire especially when it comes to tailgating season in the fall I just hope that my favorite football teams that take those Longhorns please God please deliver a win like Weber did today that is my only wish for this fall so   2. Why don't you just use a griddle pan on top of your stove instead of buying this? You already have gas hooked up to your stove, no need to get a propane tank or this grill tbh.
