  1. Hey Bob and Brad! I wanted to say big thanks to you guys! I have been lifting weights all my life, a personal trainer, bodyguard, learning/ teaching Martial Arts since my 20s and staying fit. I woke up one morning and had three pinched nerves, one in my Sciatic nerve / and two nerves going to my right hand. I have had the shots and the one for my Sciatic nerve lasted about 2 months then the pain returned. The 2 shots in my neck lasted the day and the pain was back.
    I found your videos on youtube and started doing the work and the upper back pain has diminished by 80% to 90% sometimes completely gone. Also, this may help others (Lat pulldowns completely extending the lats every time and in-between reps hang onto the bar as long as you can before releasing it. You can just hang there also to stretch out the back if your able. Use comfortable weight not too much) This would probably be for those that had been in shape and are working to get back there. It worked for me may not work for everyone. I do 3 sets of 10 twice a day along with your training.
    **My doctor was against me doing anything thing on my own to repair this myself (he has my best interest at heart I'm sure he probably didn't want me to cause myself more pain) but I told him what I was doing and why I canceled the last set of injections he said if it works keep doing it***

  3. I praise the LORD JESUS for using you guys!! As I am typing this, I am sobbing cause I tried some of your techiniques and I am having some relief from this sudden sciatica pain that started since sunday for me. First time in my life I have experienced this severe pain as if i wont be able to see another day- thats how painful it is. Through prayers and hope I believe I will be cured by this stretches in no time at all in JESUS' name! Thank you so much Bob & Brad for sharing this exercises for all of us who are in need of help especially if they are afraid to go back to doctors.

  5. What if have long time shoulder problems and can't push up nor put hands on hips(nothing to tilt shoulders- many surgeries in past)..how to do back ex's?

  7. Thanks a lot, I'm now able to do press ups all the way with little pain now, Walking is great I have zero pain when walking and it feels really good, by the way walking up stairs is also very comfortable.
    I'm keeping on pressing ups at least 10 times a day, the only time I get kind of very minor pain in my right leg thigh is when I wake up in the morning, after about 30min it's all gone.
    I think I'm on the right path ….two thumbs up for your wonderful video tutorials.

  8. What can I do for morning pain? I wake up every day will extreme pain in the butt muscle squeezing on the sciatic nerve. Takes about 4 ibu for relief and gets better during the day. The pain is so intense it takes me 15 minutes to get to the bathroom.

  9. Literally the first time I tried doing a few of these, and there is an instant improvement in my back. Hopefully by following them in the future will mean that my back is finally back to what it could be 🙂 BOB AND BRAD FOR THE WIN!

  10. I absolutely love you guys I try all of your stretches they work amazingly. I wanted to ask I get my legs all the way down to my calf massage and that seemed to really start my sciatica can you say anything to that?

  11. Not able to do your exercises due to pending cirvical ADR with fusion. Plus both knees are severe and are to be scheduled for TKR. I live alone. No one to help with piloows etc. The siatic pain is severe. I tried conservative treatments and holy smoly wanna scream. I cannot sit and cannot stand. So done with this.

  12. What is the difference between sciatica and stenosis? I have been diagnosed with both labels…will the same exercises work for both? Also, I would have to do these on the floor (it’s the only option at work), how the heck do I get back up again? I am in my mid 60s.

  13. Help Help Bob and Brad I really need your help, I'm totally confused now;

    You would not believe this, woke up this morning after all this amazing 4 weeks recovery that I had, and found myself back in square one again, Only now the pain I had on the back of my leg was replaced by 20% numbness all the way to the toes, a slight bend for brushing my teeth and boom all the pain came back. Please any suggestions and words of encouragement?
    It's now few day after I wrote the first part of this message and it looks like I'm recovering again, the only thing that really bothers me is that I have about 15% numbness in the back of the right leg thigh, heal, and bottom of foot, and tiny bit on 3 toes,

    When doing the McKenzie exercise every hour of every day I have no pain in the leg or back at all, could you give me few words of encouragement as to my numbness issue???

  14. For 10 days I had it in both sides couldn't sit down and was confined to bed layed flat out with knees raised. Eventually left side eased off so getting in and out of bed was less painful. Fourteen days in and right side still extremely painful with spasams threatening with each step I take. I'm hopeing within the next few days to be able to do the excercises you Guys have demostrated.   15. Is it safe if I’ve had a partial discectomy? I’m always so worried more disc material will squeeze out.

  16. I have pain across my upper bottom, right hip and thigh. I am unable to do these exercises because I have across shoulder, down the arm pain and knee pain. I can't lie on my stomach. I can't lie on my side because of arm and shoulder. I can only do the sitting exercise.

  17. Thanks. Been doing g the toes witch hurt. But I wasn't moving my head.
    I've been working out at 3am when the pain wakes me up. Then I'll do the water exercise. But it dosen't take the pain away. Just helps me move better. So I'll try some of your tips to help me sleep better at night. Thanks again guys

  21. I being walking and adding laps up to 7 and aiming to then I stretch and and do leg stretches and back stretches. When I am walking my laps it start hurting am I making it worse?

  28. I am so glad I found your videos on the internet. I have had major issues with my neck and going numb on my right hand side for many years. After a couple of days of practising your exercises every morning, I finally have some relief. The pain comes back again but I just go through the exercises and I finally see some relief.   29. Are you doing these specific exercises mainly when you have pain or are these exercises done even when you don't have pain currently? (ie: to help prevent future pains)

  30. My pain is radiating from the outside to the front of the hip. From what I’m reading, it’s still most likely the sciatic. I’ve been trying pigeon, extensions, quad stretching, hamstring stretching. The pain is shooting with most movement. Flexion at the hip especially. Any suggestions????? Help!!! I’m suffering!!

  32. I actually slept on my stomach for several years in the road kill position subconsciously to get leg pain relief. It worked but it ended up giving me hip flexor tendinitis in the meantime again, without realizing it!

  33. Thank you for these videos! I have what may be stupid questions but does it matter if these are done in bed or should they be done on the floor?

    I notice I’m holding my breath and clenching my legs while I do some of these exercises. Is this right or should I be relaxing more into the pose?

  34. Definitely that one at 8:54 works. I had a sudden sciatic attack last year that had me in tears and, there was no comfortable position for me to lay down in so I could rest. Then I remembered this move you showed us with the pillows and, it was amazing how well and how quickly it worked. Pain went away in a just few minutes. Another well deserved "Thank You" to Bob and Brad. You've helped me in so many ways guys.

  35. The banana & push ups give me some relief for the lower back & sciatic nerve pain. Impossible to sit on table & raise my right leg. Have difficulty with up & down head movement.Did try several times but just can't because of the excruciating pain.Had c6 removed a few yers back, was in the hospital for 21 days.Now having quite a few issues with my back.Thanks for sharing the exercises.

  41. My sciatica is on my right side. I wont swear to it, but swinging a gold club (an iron) might be helping me. especially the finish. The finish position looks somewhat like the position of one of the exercises you show. Great stuff as always guys! Oh I am right-handed, so the finish is a rotation onto my left side.
