LOCKWOOD: When we broke ground here 900 days ago, we said that we were building the future of the University of South Florida and
the Morsani College of Medicine. This has been, as you probably could imagine, an exhilarating and also extremely humbling process and there are many many
people that we owe a great debt of gratitude to. We, at USF Health, are unflagging optimists and we see this new facility and our growing partnership with Tampa General as grand opportunities to position ourselves among the best of America’s academic medical centers. CURRALL: And let us even dream that maybe someday in the future, research carried out in this building will be worthy of a Nobel Prize. MICKELSON: So, on behalf of the student body of USF Health, I want to say thank you to everyone involved for making this dream into a
reality and for truly contributing to the success of our students and our community.
