Why You Should Wake Up Early In The Morning – Surprising Health Benefits Of Waking Up Early

There’s a number of places that suggest waking
up early. In fact, we’ve done a number of videos on
the subject. While some will give reasons why you should,
in this video, we look at 5 lesser known reasons to wake up early… 1. Help You Eat Healthy
– People who waky up early have a natural desire and need to eat breakfast in the morning,
as they have more time to pick up a bite to eat
– Unlike many who are often in a rush, they don’t skip breakfast and often actually make
a more deliberate choice on what they eat – This means you maintain better eating habits
throughout the day too, as you don’t feel the temptations to eat unhealthy snacks later
on – …and are more likely to maintain a balanced
diet, eating set meals at certain times in the day 2. Helps You Skin
– Much like having time to eat a better breakfast, having time in the morning allows you to take
better care of your skin – The dietary benefits previously mentioned
can also help you skin, as it’s been proven that eating healthy goes hand in hand with
your skin health – However, the key element is that those who
wake up early have better sleeping habits and more consistent sleeping routines
– …which in turn allows your skin to rejuvenate overnight as you’re resting, helping to promote
healthier skin 3. Improves Concentration
– When you wake up early you can improve your concentration skills and focus on a given
task – This is because you aren’t being constantly
disrupted by other people, most of which are still asleep, and you get time to focus on
something you want to – This helps you to mentally prepare for the
day, getting you in a state to maintain those concentration levels you’ve started the day
with – Which in turn translates to the rest of
your day, as no longer are you having to get into a state of focus, but simply have to
maintain that state 4. Improves Memory
– Waking up early can actually help improve your memory, and it’s related to how your
body clock works each day – This is because studies have shown that
sleep can improve memory, helping the brain move short term memories into long term memories
– By having a consistent time to go to sleep and wake up each day, you improve the chances
of having a quality night’s sleep – …which in turn, helps this process to
shift memories to the long term, work in the most efficient way possible 5. Improve Your Willpower
– Another major benefit of waking up early is that you’re going to have your willpower
at its peak, because willpower is a limited resource that is renewed each day
– After you’ve had a great night’s sleep and you’re physically energized, and because
you wake up early, you get a chance to start the day without problems and in a quiet environment
– This means you don’t have to use your willpower instantly on things you may not wish to…
– …meaning that instead you have the opportunity to use it in other more productive ways, such
as breaking a bad habit or doing something for your personal growth Do you wake up early? Let me know in the comments section below. Thanks for watching, please Like, Share and
